The Lie is Over
We grow up learning how to hide our feelings. For years we convince ourselves that we are fine, that happiness is just one step away. We think buying something new will change our life, or that trying a new restaurant, booking a vacation, or owning that one bag will finally give us peace. We travel, we connect with people, we stay busy and try to stay up-to-date. But deep down, none of this makes us truly happy.
Because the moment we are alone, with no phone, no people, no distractions, we face our true self. That silence exposes what we have been running from. And that is where the turning point begins.
The lie is over when you finally say, I don’t want to live to please anyone. I don’t want to wait for something outside of me to make me whole. I want to change my life out of inspiration, not out of fear.
