Secrets
They say secrets hold power. But does that mean we should hold on to secrets as much as we can to feel powerful? Or should we never keep secrets at all?
The truth is, holding a secret can feel heavy. It’s exhausting to act normal when so much is happening inside. Carrying silence is not always strength. Sometimes, it’s a quiet burden.
They say people have two faces. But maybe it’s deeper than that. In reality, we never truly know anyone. People are often a reflection of what we want them to be. We create versions of them based on our own needs, expectations, or hopes.
But when there are secrets no one knows, there are sides of people that no one ever sees.
Maybe the truth is, we all carry hidden parts, secrets, fears, memories, that no one else can fully understand. And maybe that’s okay. But what matters is this: don’t let your secrets define you, and don’t assume you’ve seen all of someone just because they’ve shown you a part.
We are all more than we appear to be.
So be kind. Be curious. And remember, even the quietest person in the room might be carrying the loudest story.
